MERLETTI ROOM

Needlecraft is, still nowdays, the work of many women from Salento (Apulia, Italy). Their hands work skilfully, as if it were a magic trick; large and small doilies, come to life in their fingers. The charming bed, of “Barocco” (“Baroque”) style, and the granolithic tiled floor, decorated with Florence-style tulips, gives the environment the beauty and the elegance of the “merletti” (“lace / lacework”).
